Medical and Health Services has created wide network of health and medical care facilities in Union Territory to provide primary secondary tertiary health care at door step for every citizen of UT with prime focus on weaker sections in rural areas.Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital, Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli was established in 1952 which is multispecialty hospital to provide affordable medical care in a patient friendly atmosphere and Comprehensive care. A free drug bank is functioning in the hospital campus where patients can avail free medicines prescribed to them. Community Health Center at the channel is shortly been upgraded to a Sub-district Hospital which will become a first referral hospital for PHCs in hilly terrain areas.
