Mobile Dispensary

Establishment of Mobile Dispensary is one of the innovative schemes which will provide health coverage to the people living in the deep interior and remote areas of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.These mobile dispensaries shall be functional on day to day basis.

The department is proposing to start four Mobile Dispensary in the following areas:

Objectives

To provide primary preventive,curative promotive & referral health services at the door step to the people in the peripheral areas.
To engage in providing essential quality primary healthacare services to the people with diagnostic facilities.
To co-ordinate with the district public health system to achieve improvement in the millenium dvelopment goals such as IMR,MMR, Life expectancy etc.

Drugs

All essential drugs are required to be in place & always available in mobile dispensary for dispensation free of cost as per requirement. MO to maintain stock register for drugs & Medicines with utilization in the prescribed format been used for primary health care.

IEC Materials

It is necessary to create awareness & educate the masses in the area about use of medical services rendered through mobile dispensary by using IEC Materils & Methodology.
